In 2012, Dunlap Community Unit School District #323 in Dunlap, IL constructed a new 97,000 square foot K-5 elementary school to accommodate an expanding student population.  This state-of-the-art facility included central chilled water and hot water plant, 8 custom air handling units, over 90 VAV terminals, and other misc equipment.

Automated Logic’s custom graphics programming language (Eikon) made it easy to implement several energy conservation sequences of operation for this project.  These sequences included: optimal start, dynamic static pressure setpoint reset, dynamic supply air temperature setpoint reset, dynamic chilled water temperature setpoint reset,  and dynamic hot water temperature setpoint reset.

With the use of Automated Logic WebCTRL, the Dunlap CUSD facilities staff can monitor and control this facility remotely on any web-browser without the use of licensed devices or special software.

ECSI was a key player on a project construction team that made sure the school was ready for the 2012-2013 school year.
